Beacon with a unique MAC address for tracking and button-based triggering. Can power from 2x CR2032 or via micro USB smartphone charger (not supplied). Slide switch on bottom selects between battery and micro USB power. Also has a detectable button press. 4 Holes in the corners for screw mounting. Loop at top for hanging/wearing.

Note that this beacon is not an iBeacon nor Eddystone beacon. The advertising data is instead wholly used for sensor data. You will need an app or gateway to scan and get the advertising data. The sensor data (on/off), battery level and button press are all in the advertising data.

2.8 year battery life with default 4 sec transmit period.

An Android configuration app allows changing of transmit power level and the advertising interval. There is no iOS configuration app.
