This model is the latest version of the FSC-BP103 in that it includes an on/off button. In addition, the black ones have the MAC address on a sticker on the reverse side of the case for easy physical identification (see images).
It's possible to detect a short button press by setting the beacon to advertise at a different rate for a defined time. Defaults to 100ms for 35 seconds.
