Waterproof, twin AA battery beacon that advertises up to 6 channels that can be iBeacon, Eddystone UID, Eddystone URL, Eddystone TLM and device info. Top has screws for ease of changing the battery. Tags for screw mounting. Uses the newer Nordic nRF52 SoC for improved battery life up to 5 years depending on the settings and the type of batteries. Up to 200m range.

The Eddystone TLM advertising and configuration app show a temperature. This is not a separate temperature sensor, it's the System on a Chip (SoC) die/chip temperature. As the chip is low power and generates little heat, this tends to track the external temperature. However, note that this temperature has a low resolution of 0.25C and changes slowly as the beacon is sealed for waterproofing.

This is the version with the crystal oscillator. Suitable for use with TRBOnet.

Note that, as with any long range beacon, the maximum range is achieved only when there's line of sight.
