Waterproof, long 100m range beacon that advertises up to 6 channels that can be iBeacon, Eddystone UID, Eddystone URL, Eddystone TLM and device info. Internal on-off switch. Top screws off for ease of changing the battery. Uses the newer Nordic nRF52 SoC for improved battery life. Supports OTA firmware update.

The Eddystone TLM advertising and configuration app show a temperature. This is not a separate temperature sensor, it's the System on a Chip (Soc) die/chip temperature. As the chip is low power and generates little heat, this tends to track the external temperature. However, note that this temperature has a low resolution of 0.25C and changes slowly as the beacon is sealed for waterproofing.
