Waterproof (IP68) gateway that detects Bluetooth devices and sends this information via cellular LTE-M or NB-IoT. Also includes internal GPS, accelerometer and temperature that can be reported even when there are no Bluetooth devices detected. Can also act as a Bluetooth beacon. Wide range of applications including smart logistics, cold chain transportation, smart warehousing, construction and public transport.

Supports sending data to Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or your own server via MQTT. SDK provided to parse the received hex data and turn into JSON. Receive cellular network information, GPS data, temperature, acceleration and device power information. Bluetooth data includes advertising, MAC address, RSSI and time stamp. 

Backup 3000mAh rechargeable battery to enable reporting of abnormal conditions such as loss of power. 

Initially configured using the included smartphone app (currently Android only). Configuration settings include whether LTE-M or NB-IoT network, server URL and auth, scanning interval, scanning window, RSSI filter, MAC address filter, raw Bluetooth filter, temperature frequency and thresholds, acceleration frequency and thresholds and upload interval. Windows-based MQTT Assistant tool allows remote configuration and data reading for testing and/or this can be done via MQTT.

Multi-cellular module supports multi-operator access and regulatory certification. Requires a nano SIM (not included) supporting NB-IoT or LTE-M in the country to be used. LTE frequency bands supported: B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B8, B12, B13, B14, B17, B18, B19, B20, B24, B26, B28 and B66. Maximum 10 Bluetooth packets/sec for NB-IoT and 60 Bluetooth packets/sec for LTE-M. Under LTE-M supports up to 100 Bluetooth tags at a time with a scanning range up to 100m but this depends more on the detected Bluetooth beacons.

Note: The temperature reported is that inside the gateway which is usually greater than the outside ambient temperature.

Requires power supply in the range 8v to 52v (not supplied). Three external wires, +ve, -ve and ignition (optional for use in vehicle to detect whether ignition on). Mounted using supplied 3M tape, screws or plastic ties.

Internal antennas. -20C to 70C operating temperature. 0-45C is needed for normal charging of backup battery.
